Your WEWOOD® timepiece is warranted for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase under the following terms and conditions: The worldwide WEWOOD® timepiece watch warranty covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of the purchase of the watch. The warranty only comes into force if the proof of puchase is shown, with a valid payment of receipt. During the warranty period and by presenting the proof of purchase, you will have the right to have any manufacturing defect repaired free of charge.

In the event that repairs are improper to restore the normal conditions of use of your watch, or if you purchased a WEWOOD® timepiece no longer available, we guarantee its replacement with a WEWOOD® timepiece of the same or similar model/color.The WEWOOD warranty does not cover: normal wear and tear or deterioration as well as water or fire damage, the life of the battery, crystal, watch case, strap/bracelet, loss or theft.

Wewood Special care

To be sure that our customers are satisfied with their puchase, we provide a special care program that covers the first 15 days after puchase. This includes ANY KIND of defect or damage caused by normal use. Shipping costs to send the watch to the support center will be at our expense. So if your watch is still under our Wewood Special Care warranty please log on to our web site, click on support/returns and send an email to the support center in your geographical zone, indicating in the subject of the email "Special Care" and in the text,your address and telephone. We will be happy to assist you in all the process.

The WEWOOD SPECIAL CARE warranty does not cover repair or delivery of the following problems:

  • Damages occured from exposure to water or fire;
  • Any damage of any part of the watch resulting from abnormal/abusive use, lack of care, negligence, accidents (knocks, dents, cracks etc.) incorrect use of the watch;
  • Damages caused by non-authorized persons (e.g. for battery replacement, services, repairs or alterations beyond WEWOOD® control).

THIS IS HOW TO PROCEED

In case of a repair please ship your watch along with your contact details (name, contact number and email address), delivery address and repair needs to:

From here your watch will be checked into our repair centre, once the watch is repaired and ready to be delivered back to you, you will receive your WeWood Repair Invoice and notification of repairs done.

In a nutshell if the watch is still within its warranty period (24 months from date of purchase), the following is covered by warranty and will not be charged: (Proof of Purchase is required in this case and to be sent along with watch)

  • Mechanism
  • Stem & Crown
  • Hands

These are all manufacturing faults and will therefore be covered by us if the watch needs these repairs within the 24 month period from date of purchase.

Faults on the following watch parts are not covered by warranty:

  • Battery (R50)
  • Glass (R120)
  • Digits (R120)
  • Pins (R 20 per pin)
  • Links (R 40 per link)
  • Clasps (R 160)
  • Cases (R 200)
  • Straps (R120)

Unfortunately these faults are generally caused by general wear and tear, an accident or misuse of the watch which is why WEWOOD cannot repair these free of charge.

Delivery is a further R 120 per trip for repairs not covered by warranty.
